ZAOZA
“Daily Games”
As a ramp-up for their main campaign, ZAOZA wanted to build a base of followers.
Kai Abd El-Salam and I came up with a series of free online games. Each game was developed within two days – concept, presentation, design, programming, and all.
Props to Maria Botsch for the quirky designs.

“The Debate Club” – based on the principle of the timeless classic “Pong” and pretty much every human discussion, players could exchange arguments on various topics. Like relationship, food, sports, politics, or leisure.

The talking points were as in-depth as “Yes!”/”No!”, “Meat!/”Veg!”, “Mountains!”/”Sea!”...

“Aim for a better World” – an ego-shooter that blasted various scenarios with love, peace & happiness.

“The Download-Derby” – Pick your champion from a set of songs and start the download. If your tune finishes first, you can keep it.

“Dwarf-Tossing” – based on the then-popular “Yeti games”, the player had to click really fast to help Snow White throw Dopey and Grumpy over the mountains. Best out of seven wins.

“Double-click Coyote!” – who’s got the fastest mouse-clicking finger?

“Instant Success” – Need a sense of achievement but lack the time or motivation to earn it? Look no further!

Whether by placing a single block in “Teatris” …

… or by shooting an obese “Swamp-Chicken” ambling across the screen ...

… these ultra-short takes on classic computer games rewarded its players within seconds.
